Capacity Building Programme for Women & Disability :
Internet Training Programme for Women & Disability:
Computer is playing vital role in present days by which Information and Communication facilities became easier. But due to poor socio economic condition, rural youth especially women could not access this modern facilities. Therefore SNDAYP in joint collaboration with SMRC / RI Bhubaneswar, organized a seven days [from 23rd January to 29th January 2009] training program on operating Internet exclusively for women / Girl with disability. 08 nos. of differentially able persons participated in the said training program and learned about the technical ways of operating internet. Overall objective of organizing such training program was to upgrade the skill & knowledge of the person with disability at the same time to make them self-employed and also to mainstream them. Community Based Rehabilitation of Person with Disability :
SNDAYP has been implementing the CBR program for the PWDs since last 6 years with the partnership of CBR Forum/CARITAS India. In the year 2008-09 the following activities were undertaken for the betterment of the PWDs. More......

Community Based Socio Economic Rehabilitation :
The programme was undertaken for the socio-economic empowerment of PWDs of the rural areas of Puri Sadar Block which was supported by Abilis Foundation. Most vulnerable 7 Grampanchayats were selected to address the social and livelihood issues. The PWDs were motivated for generating the income within the community through a natural resource management. More.....

Skill Upgradation on Applique / Chandua :
The skill up gradation training on appliqué was undertaken in Birakishorepur of Chandanpur GP of Puri District of Orissa. Total 20 trainees were gone under the programme which resulted in 15 trained professionals in CHANDUA making in Puri district of Orissa. It added a great value in the field of appliqué. This programme was supported by NABARD, BBSR. More.......
